Archie Kleopfer, DVM
Born and raised in Indiana, Dr. Archie graduated from Purdue in 1983. He went on to practice for the next three years in Wisconsin, working with both large and small animals. Seeking a warmer climate and more fishing opportunities, Dr. Archie moved to this area in 1986 and began a house call practice for small animals.
As his business grew, so did the need for a larger facility. In 2002, he opened Kleopfer Veterinary Care Clinic in Lake Worth, where he provides a hometown, family atmosphere in a state-of-the-art facility.
Dr. Archie is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Feline Practitioners, Florida Veterinary Medical Association, Palm Beach Veterinary Society, Purdue Alumni, and the Greater Lake Worth Chamber of Commerce. Asked what he likes best about his job, Dr. Archie replies, “I love the people, and I love helping their pets lead healthier, happier, and longer lives.”
Front desk supervisor since Feb 2002, Kathleen brings many years of customer service skills. She keeps the front desk running like a well-oiled machine. With an eye for detail, Kathleen often juggles many responsibilities without losing focus on patient care.
When asked what keeps her motivated, she answers, “I love working with a group of people who always put the pet’s best interest first.”
Lead technician since July 2002, Tina brings over 17 years of animal care experience to our team. Her commitment to the team, as well as her dedication to our patients and their owners, provides a guiding force each and everyday. Tina tells us that the best part of her job is “watching the transformation of sick and injured pets to ones with a healthier, brighter future ahead of them.”
Technician with our team since January 2003, Judy adds a comforting presence to our clients and their pets. In addition to her clinic duties, Judy is also Dr. Archie’s co-pilot on his house call visits. Her genuine concern for our clients and their pets is reflected in the love and comfort she extends on a daily basis. When asked about the most important aspect of her job, she tells us, “Enhancing the lives of so many pets through loving and compassionate care”.
